Don't talk to me about life..
I found this prototype a while ago - I would guess it has gotten bored guarding the door and taken a break from scooting to balance objects.
Brain the size of the a planet..

Concrete, Metal, Glass
I've been wanting to keep these images accessible and easy to connect with - but I can't help some abstract..
Modern structures of concrete, metal and glass create multiple layers of architectural design - made 2-dimensional and deprived of our brain's natural range-finding, it's difficult to dissemble.

Deviant
A not-so-subtle hint from an unknown bigger story..
*Even with wide angle was too close to get in one photo, hence the jaunty angle and spooky background..

Peeping Tom
It won't take long.. but you'll see a face - abstracted from a Specsavers billboard by the reflective window it takes on a more sinister air..
Using reflections I much prefer to post-manipulation - a digital physical process will never be quite the same.. better or worse is debatable - but even that debate makes no sense.. is a photograph better or worse than a painting? - That is what came before photography, and was seen to supersede..

Injured gull
I see a seagull sitting outside a doorway like a cat patiently waiting to be let in.. as I approach the bird fidgets nervously but doesn't fly away, and it's plain to see why. I have very little love for seagulls, their default state around us land predators is aggression, but this did wrench me.
After I got too close the bird did totter off, but I did come across it again - outside a very similar reflective glass door, and I could only guess why..
Did it find comfort close to another bird? (the reflection of itself) .. What do you think?
